CABLE LUGS

Cable Lug adalah salah satu accessories kabel yang berfungsi untuk penyambungan kabel ke terminal atau panel dengan dibautkan pada bussbar atau panel.

Untuk kebutuhan penyambungan kabel jaringan listrik (Terminasi), kabel Lug terdiri dari beberapa jenis, yaitu :

  • Kabel schoen AL (aluminium).
  • Kabel schoen CU (tembaga).
  • Kabel schoen AL-CU (bimetal).

CABLE GLANDS

CABLE GLAND INDONESIA adalah sebuah alat (non-listik) yang dipakai untuk melekatkan dan mengamankan ujung kabel di sisi peralatan listrik. Mengapa perlu alat khusus untuk melekat di peralatan? Bukankah ada terminal kabel di Indonesia? Inilah fungsi CABLE GLAND, yaitu mengurangi stress pada terminal dan tembaga yang diterminasi. Stress itu disebabkan karena tarikan gravitasi berat kabel atau vibrasi. Jadi, efek mekanis kabel diluar peralatan listrik tidak ditahan oleh terminal, tetapi oleh CABLE GLAND tadi. Pada lingkungan yang berbahaya (hazardous area), CABLE GLAND juga harus mendukung fungsi ini di Indonesia. Untuk CABLE GLAND type Eex ‘d” (explosion proof), berfungsi juga menahan internal pressure jika terjadi ledakan didalam sebuah papan bagi (distribution panel) jenis Eex ‘d’. CABLE GLAND Indonesia juga berperan dalam instalasi bangunan higienis sehingga bisa mempertahankan tekanan bangunan lebih tinggi dari dalam bangunan (positive pressure). Ruangan jadi bebas debu dan bebas dari rembesan air yang masuk/turun melalui kabel. CABLE GLAND juga berperan untuk memberikan koneksi secara fisik dari panel ke kabel armor atau shielding kabel.

CABLE CLEATS

Cable cleats adalah komponen yang digunakan untuk menahan dan mengamankan kabel dalam posisi yang benar, terutama di lingkungan yang membutuhkan keamanan dan perlindungan ekstra terhadap kabel-kabel besar atau tegangan tinggi. Cleat ini berfungsi untuk mencegah pergerakan atau getaran kabel yang bisa menyebabkan kerusakan atau bahkan kebakaran.

Cable cleats sering digunakan di area industri, pembangkit listrik, fasilitas minyak dan gas, serta area dengan risiko mekanis atau suhu tinggi. Mereka umumnya terbuat dari bahan logam atau plastik tahan lama dan dirancang untuk mengamankan kabel dengan kuat tanpa merusak isolasi kabel itu sendiri.

Secara umum, cable cleats membantu:

  • Mengatur dan menahan kabel agar tetap pada jalurnya.
  • Mencegah kabel saling bertabrakan atau saling bergesekan.
  • Menjamin keselamatan dalam instalasi listrik atau industri.

Jadi, meskipun kabel clamps dan cable cleats memiliki fungsi yang serupa dalam mengamankan kabel, cable cleats lebih sering digunakan dalam situasi yang membutuhkan ketahanan ekstra dan perlindungan lebih terhadap kabel.

    TE Connectivity’s (TE) Trefoil Cable Cleats are designed to offer a highly reliable retention system for cables and terminations in LV, MV and HV applications. Their compact and stackable design is ideal for installation where space is limited, such as wind farms, data centers and substations.

    The trefoil cable cleats are engineered to withstand harsh environments. Made from impact-resistant, UV-stabilized, halogen-free, polymeric flame-retardant V0 material that is UL certified, they perform under extreme temperatures from -40°C to +120°C (-40°F to +248°F).

The flat surface of the cable cleat allows different stacked configurations without special hardware or height adapters. Our trefoil cable cleats are range-taking to fit cables with an outer diameter up to 75 mm (2.95 inches), and are suitable for both metric and imperial sized hardware.

    The interlocking EPDM molded inserts accommodate cable expansion, contraction, and vibration, as well as offer an increased level of asset protection and reduce mechanical load in vertical applications. The stainless-steel hardware offers higher corrosion resistance and mechanical performance. To serve a wider application range, our cable cleats are also available as single and dual versions.

    TE Connectivity’s (TE) mechanical connectors and repair sleeves are designed for use in low and medium voltage applications. Only three sizes cover conductor sizes from 25 mm² to 400 mm². All products consist of a tin-plated body, shear-head bolts and inserts for small conductor sizes. Made of special aluminium alloy, these contact bolts are double shear‑head bolts with hexagon heads. The bolts are treated with a highly lubricating agent. Contact bolts are irremovable once their heads have been sheared off. The Lug body is made of a high-tensile, tin-plated aluminium alloy. The internal surface of the conductor holes are grooved. Lugs are suitable for outdoor and indoor applications and are available with different palm hole sizes. The bolted fitting featured herein was developed specifically for use in medium voltage cable accessories up to 84 kV. They may also be used in the 1 kV range. Before using mechanical connectors in cable accessories, confirm that they are suitable for the given application and if ecessary consult the manufacturer.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION : TECHNICAL DATA SHEET FOR HEAVY DUTY CABLE LUGS - LONG BARREL - RLELB

  • The Cable Lugs- Long Barrel (RLELB) is manufactured from high conductivity electrolytic copper.
  • The cable lugs are for heavt duty power cables for rated voltages up to 36 kV.
  • The lugs can be provided with inspection window to visually assure full conductor insertion.
  • The lugs are tin plated to inhibit corrosion.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION : INDUSTRIAL CABLE GLANDS & ACCESSORIES

    Sealing the cable fromdust andmoisture ensuring maximumprotection to the enclosure is the most significant feature ofcable glands. At RaychemRPG, we use the optimumrubbermaterial in the following ways tooffer efficient sealing.

    Compression sealing is an elastomeric sealing ring that has a V-groove that creates a downward seal on the cable inner bedding, when the same compressive force is equally applied to both sides of the seal. Displacement sealing has a shape in the formof a taper which is gradually pushed ahead into the taper on the gland.

    Raychem RPG manufactured mechanical type Cable glands meet the requirements of BS 6121-1:2005; & IEC/ EN 62444 (Harmonized std. for European low voltage directive 2014/35/EU. Raychem RPG Cable Glands are inconformance withIP66asperIEC60529:1989/A2:2013-Degrees of Protection provided by enclosures (IP Code). The prime purpose is to define levels of sealing effectiveness of electrical enclosures against intrusion from Dust & water.
